Trevor travels to Willow Bunch Saskatchewan to investigate the life and legacy of Edouard Beaupre, Canada’s tallest man more than a century ago, leading him to Montreal where he learns about the macabre display that kept him famous long after his death.
Mary Greyeyes
Mary Greyeyes is the first Indigenous woman in the Canadian Army and although her legacy is often overshadowed by Indigenous fighting men of the Army, her interesting story draws Trevor to look at his own family’s relationship with the Canadian Forces.
Shadow of… premieres the feature length version on Citytv Monday June 27 at 10 PM MT as part of recognizing and celebrating Indigenous peoples in Canada and their stories for National Indigenous History Month. The half hour episodes premiere Friday July 1 at 10PM MT.
